Common Questions

Frequently Asked

Everything you need to know before scheduling.

No. Clarus Surgical Consult provides educational guidance and second opinions based on the records and imaging you provide. It does not replace an in-person examination or establish a traditional doctor–patient relationship. We always recommend following up with a local provider for definitive care.

A panoramic X-ray is ideal and required if available. CBCT scans provide the most detailed view and are strongly recommended for complex cases. Clinical photos are helpful but optional. You can still receive a consultation without imaging — Dr. Kur will note any limitations in his assessment.

Written reviews are typically delivered within 24–48 hours of complete case submission. Live video consultations are scheduled at your convenience, usually within a few business days. Comprehensive packages include both formats.

Yes. All information is stored and transmitted using HIPAA-compliant systems. We use industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect your data. Your records will never be shared without your explicit consent.

Payment is required prior to the consultation. Services are non-refundable once the case review has begun. Missed virtual appointments may not be refunded. If you have questions before booking, please reach out — we’re happy to help determine the right service for your needs.
